Out of the Five Clans, only Riverclan and Skyclan remain. But they are just as mixed as the three new clans; Creekclan, Mountainclan and Forestclan. Uneasiness has settled around the forest. Tensions are drawn high. It won't be long before a fight breaks out. When it does, will even Starclan be able to stop the bloodshed?

The treacherous MountainClan deputy, Hollowtail, is seen as a loyal, trustworthy cat through Redstar's eyes. Three MountainClan Apprentices, Swallowpaw, Shiningpaw, and Poppypaw are set out to stop him in his tracks on his quest for control of the forest.

The RiverClan leader, Tanglestar, returned from a mysterious journey just as her deputy, Snowflare, disappeared. A flood has overtaken most of the RiverClan camp, and the once sleek and plump cats are now straggly and bony. They don't know how much longer they can go on, but the proud RiverClan cats are reluctant to go for help.

SkyClan is relatively calm, but as they say, there is always a rise before a fall. The lost kit, Rosekit, has returned home and made an apprentice, but the warriors are on the watch more than ever.

Icestar and Graytail both were killed saving their clan. Robinstar and Blackice have been tentatively chosen, and the ruptured clan is slowly coming back together.

Forestclan is healthy and whole, with two litters and 8 kits born in the last moon. Little do they know that the peace is about to be disrupted. What is Oceankit's and Seakit's strange connection to the journey of Tanglestar? The discovery of Gyatso Isle, Shark, and Gill is about to shake the clan to its roots.
